Last January, he fronted the sold-out Beautiful Monsters concert at the National Gallery of Canada. With the music of the Ottawa Baroque Consort, he tackled the exhibition’s wicked Medusa, was lured to doom by sirens, and descended to the fiery depths of hell. “Great success, marvelous matinee.” –Mainstreeter
Brennan is also a stand-up comedian who performs regularly from Hamilton to Montreal and can be found hosting at Absolute Comedy Ottawa and Yuk Yuk’s. Last year he hosted the packed Mayfair Theatre for four days for the Ottawa Adventure Film Festival and was the opening night host at Fresh Meat 8 at the Arts Court Theatre.
For 12 years he was part of one of Canada’s most beloved sketch troupes The Imponderables (Just For Laughs Gala-CBC, 5 Canadian Comedy Awards, Acme Theatre L.A, The Pit NYC, Second City Toronto, Massey Hall, 18 Fringe Festivals and the critically acclaimed web series Bill & Sons Towing).
He has twice presented at Ottawa StoryTellers’ Stories and Tea series: Mystery and the Macabre in 2018 and The Fuss in 2019.
