On the first Thursday of every month (12 months a year), Ottawa StoryTellers hosts a story swap / open stage. Admission is free, and everyone is invited to come and tell a story and / or listen.

Storytellers say "Hello" to the host for the night, and sign up to tell your story!

Date: First Thursday of the month
Time: 7:00 PM
Place: PSAC Building, 233 Gilmour Street (at Metcalfe)

Stories are usually five to ten minutes long. We recommend stories that engage and entertain. And of course, storytellers tell from memory!

Driving Directions to the PSAC: (there is parking)

- Take Hwy 417 downtown

- Exit Metcalfe St. and turn north toward the Museum of Nature (If coming from the east, it’s a right turn; if coming from the west, it’s a left turn.)

- Travel north on Metcalfe, then drive around the museum (Right on Argyle, left on Metcalfe, left on McLeod, right onto Metcalfe.)

- Turn right onto Gilmour St.

- 233 Gilmour St. is on the left.  The PSAC is a large brick oval building. You can’t miss it!

(Note: Gilmour is a one-way street, eastbound. When going to the Swap, you cannot turn left from Elgin St. onto Gilmour.  Leaving the Swap parking lot, you can turn left onto Gilmour, and then right onto Elgin.)

We look forward to seeing you there!
