Since 2005, Sherri has told stories in all sorts of venues, and to a wide range of audiences. She has performed at several OST events, including the 4th Stage Series at the NAC, the Ottawa Storytelling Festival, and the Tea Party. She has also told at events ranging from corporate meetings to baby showers, from retirement homes to hockey rinks.
Sherri loves to tell stories for adults, however on occasion she also tells to children of all ages. Her favourite stories are those that demonstrate the strength of the human spirit – stories of the unusual or possibly overlooked “superheroes” of our times. Sherri tells historical stories, folk tales as well as personal stories drawn from her own experiences.
Sherri is available on weekends and as well as during the week.

“Sherri captivates the audience with her storytelling. She becomes the characters in her stories, drawing listeners in and transporting them to the story's location as if by magic carpet. Listeners are left with the impression that they have met the characters personally. Students and staff are mesmerized as Mrs. Yazdani allows them to journey through time with her stories. “
