Workshops for Beginning Storytellers
The Ottawa StoryTellers are sponsoring regular two or three day workshops to introduce the art of storytelling, and to encourage listeners to be tellers too!
Workshops are normally offered twice a year, in the spring and fall.
Beginners Storytelling Workshop April/May 2012
Tip Toe through the Tulips and Tell a Tale or Two.
If Storytelling interests you even a little bit, then Ottawa StoryTellers Spring Introduction to Storytelling Workshop is what you are looking for.
This is your opportunity to blossom and share a story. When you take the Ottawa Storytellers Introduction to Storytelling three-part workshop, you are part of a small group that has an opportunity to learn how to choose and present a story. You will hear stories told by experienced Tellers, practice vocal warm ups, try out memory exercises, and discover Storytelling resources and memory aids. You will have the opportunity to practice your story and present it to an audience in a warm and supportive environment.
Storytelling is alive and well. Join us and keep it blooming!
